Blanchetown Riverside Holiday Park is a peaceful, quiet and tranquil caravan park
set on a large lawned area right on the edge of the mighty River Murray.
We are right next to the first lock, built on the river in 1922 and also within 4 minutes walking distance of the oldest hotel built on the Murray.
Watch the paddle steamers go through the lock as they head up river on their weekly runs. Blanchetown is situated mid-way between Waikerie in the Riverland and Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley. You are only 30 minutes drive from the wineries of the Riverland or the Barossa. Both areas offer excellent restaurants, golf courses, historic sites and many other tourist attractions.
